Application of Advanced Machine Guarding – This session discusses machine guarding measures that improve both safety and manufacturing productivity. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulation called the “Minor Servicing Exception” allows alternatives to fixed machine guards and/or lockout/tagout in certain situations. Find out when these alternative measures are acceptable, the proper steps to be compliant and how others manufacturers have leveraged this to significantly improve manufacturing productivity and safety.
